Mighty International is an international sales entity and owns the license for the international production rights for Mighty Chemical KK. Mighty International is located in Seattle, Washington USA.
In 1981, Mighty Chemical KK in Japan started research and development for an inorganic coating which would offer superior performance in waterproofing, rust and corrosion prevention, bonding, and insulation. It has taken 10 years to complete the formula for Mighty CF-CP, which delivers these properties.
Mighty CF-CP is well known as an excellent inorganic rust prevention and waterproof coating product throughout Japan. It also has excellent bonding performance with metal, concrete, wood, plastics, and other materials. Mighty CF-CP is environmentally friendly and contains no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC). Mighty CF-CP can encapsulate asbestos for a long time, thus avoiding the costs of asbestos abatement or demolition of the structure. Mighty CF-CP has been an environmentally friendly product since its inception, and has a very important role in minimizing our impact on the environment.
Through the research and development effort, Mighty CF-CP has developed a new roof waterproofing method, which is permeable, light, durable, and easy to install. Mighty CF-CP has also developed “Sun Guard” which is high performance insulation coating which is resilient to sever weathering.
Mighty CF-CP has had many projects involving the conservation of buildings, bridges, port facilities, oil and gas refineries' structures, and so on throughout Japan for over 28 years. Mighty CF-CP is now introducing its products throughout the world to conserve energy, resources, and building structures and help reduce our global carbon footprint.
Product Evolution
Mighty CF-CP Products were first developed for, and tested throughout, the Japanese archipelago, which stretches from the frigid northern islands to the searing heat and humidity of southern islands. Even the main island, in summer, has temperatures which regularly exceed 30°C (86°F) with over 90% humidity, and sometimes reaching over 40°C (104°F). Conversely, Japan's winter weather barrels out of Siberia and Mongolia to the West, dumping upwards of 18 meters (60 feet) of snow, and reaching temperatures of -41°C (-42°F). This geographically, as well as seasonally, diverse environment has been a brutal testing ground for construction materials. In addition to these severe conditions, Japan experiences frequent and devastating earthquakes and an average of 27 typhoons per year.
Mighty CF-CP has withstood this vicious test of time and elements with superior results, and product life cycle and durability in excess of 24 years. Mighty CF-CP has saved its customers substantial labor and material costs compared to rival products that must be reapplied every 3 to 5 years. Moreover, Mighty CF-CP helps customers preserve existing buildings instead of tearing down and building new structures. This is a significant benefit not only for the customer but also for the environment.
